CDSC hosts its second annual Starving Artist Art Show + Sale to benefit the creation of a Community Art Center at CDSC. The evening will include food, art, and entertainment, on Friday, January 22, from 6:30 - 10 pm, CDSC, 352 Classon Avenue (Clifton Pl.), 718-398-2050
Book Sales Benefit Haiti
Greenlight Bookstore is pledging to donate 10% of this Saturday and Sunday’s sales to the Red Cross for aid to Haiti…..and there’s more. If any customer is willing to match the bookstore's donation, one of the owners will personally match it as well. Greenlight Bookstore, Saturday, 10 am – 10 pm, Sunday, 12 pm – 8 pm.
