Well, with Public Advocate, Bill DeBlasio, setting up shop in front of the Atlantic Terminal Mall, The Rose Classic Girls Basketball Tournament shooting hoops at JHS 113, and a Clinton Hill luxury apartment reportedly plagued with toxic mold and vermin, June is turning out to be an interesting month. Vocalists + Musicians Wanted
The Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir, based in Clinton Hill, is forming and looking for singers and musicians. Auditions will be held Thursday, June 10, 11:00-4:00 at Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street (Court and Adams) and Saturday, June 12, 10:00-6:00 at Elim International Temple (in the Tabernacle), 20 Madison St.
(Classon/Franklin). Be prepared to sing one of the following songs a cappella for 30 seconds. The list of songs includes "Amazing Grace," "His Eye Is On The Sparrow," "I Won't Complain," "We Are The World," "I Need You To Survive," "Speak To My Heart," "Even Me," "My Soul Is Anchored In The Lord," "Jesus Is Love, " "Center of My Joy," "Stand,” and "Blessed Assurance." Clinton Hill Simply Art & Framing Gallery Celebrates Caribbean Heritage Month The gallery hosts a weekly, neighborhood mural walk and viewing. The guided and self-guided tour features an outdoor exhibit “The Murals of Wallabout,” by Puerto Rican folk artist and local resident Evelyn Talarico. Pride Event
Brooklyn Community Pride Center hosts “We’re Coming Out” dance party following the Brooklyn Pride parade, on Saturday, June 12, 10:00 pm to 4:00 am, at BAMcafe.

FABFEST
The June 20th portion of the month-long Fulton Area Business Alliance FABfest takes place from noon-6:00 pm at Fulton St. & Lafayette Avenue. Festivities include 3-on-3 soccer games for kids, crafts, activities and giveaways for kids, mural painting, environmental demos, stand-up comedy, readings by local authors, live performances, salsa dance lessons and more. Thelma Hill Performing Arts Center (THPAC) 34th Season
THPAC presents six companies over two evenings for Souls Of Our Feet: People of Color Dance Festival and closes the season With “A Ramp To Paradise,” a dance narrative chronicling one night at the legendary, underground New York club Paradise Garage. The three-night event, June 22-24, takes place at the Kumble Theater at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus. Tickets, $15, $12 for seniors and students, may be purchased at the Kumble Theater box office or website.
First Annual Fort Greene Open Doubles Tourney
This Fort Greene Tennis Association's USTA sanctioned tennis tournament takes place Saturday, June 26 (9 am-12 noon) & Sunday, June 27 (9 am-4 pm). The entrance fee is $15 per person. For details and application visit the Fort Greene Tennis Association website.
Fort Greene Festival
